'Fatal error' opening ship locker

So I came back to this game for the latest update, Glad giraffe, and was met with an old annoyance. Whenever I try to open the ship locker, I get;

Fatal Error: Access violation detected at 00000001801917A (Read of address 0000002000000040)

Then a list of a bunch of numbers and the game stops responding.

This is a game breaking bug, as there is no way around interacting with the ship locker. I am unsure if this applies to all containers, or all interaction based objects, as I can't get to...
