Automatically teleported back to ship

So, I recently downloaded the newest version of Starbound on Steam and launched my server. After connecting to it, I find that when I beam down to a Forest planet after running around on it for about 15-20 seconds, I get automatically teleported back to my ship no matter what I do.

I tested it in single player and the same issue seems to occur.

Any ideas what might cause this?
