Game crashes on startup, tried everything, nothing works

so i've been planning to try and get back into this game after a looong time without playing. so i booted the game up and it worked just fine.
but i wanted to do a vanilla playthrough, it didn't feel right for me to try and get back into the game loaded with a billion mods, so i uninstalled everything, and suddenly, the game refuses to launch now. it crashes immediately after i launch it, doesn't even get to the title screen anymore.

i've tried running steam as admin - didn't work
tried...
