Ship didn't import to new computer?

Tried posting this on the Starbound Steam forum and didn't get any replies, so I'm hoping for better luck here.

I'm in the process of moving from my old Mac computer to a new one (also Mac). I tried to follow instructions to transfer my saved game files, and it looks like my player, universe, and quest progress have saved, all of my crew seems to be there... everything except all of the changes I've made to my ship and everything I had stored there. That's all gone. It's the same size as...

Menu Screen off centre

So ive played starbound on my mac before the 1.4 bountyhunter update and everything was fine having a great time. I now want to get back into the game because of this new update but whenever i launch the game the screen is off centre. What i mean by that is that when im on the starting menu the buttons to play single player, multi player and the options are all off screen so i cant press them. ive tried looking around for answers but couldnt find any, does anyone else have this problem? Hi everyone,

I bought Starbound this morning And when i try to launch Starbound nothing happened, and the log show the error: "Fatal Error: Stack overflow encountered", i set the comptability settings to "Windows 7" and "Run as administrator".

I already tried to uninstall the game.

Here my specs:
CPU: AMD A9-9420 RADEON R5, 5 COMPUTES CORE 2C + 3G
GPU: AMD Radeon 530
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows 10

Someone now how to fix it ?

I bought Starbound this morning And when i try to launch Starbound nothing happened, and the log show the error: "Fatal Error: Stack overflow encountered", i set the compatibility settings to "Windows 7" and "Run as administrator".

I already tried to uninstall the game.

Here my specs:
CPU: AMD A9-9420 RADEON R5, 5 COMPUTES CORE 2C + 3G
GPU: AMD Radeon 530
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows 10

Someone know how to fix it ?

AI fix help

So, i've been trying to figure out the problem for a while and looked in my starbound log as well but i just can't find the problem. Basically, a majority of weapon wielding AI, including crew members, have their gun just in front of them and do nothing, like their arms are stuck forward. Would someone more experienced like to take a look in my starbound log to see if they can find the problem?

Hello there

I am at my last strip of hope when it comes to this issue: let me explain it as detailed as I can.

Whenever I try to start Starbound via steam it reaches a black screen with a white square which stays up for maybe 5-10 seconds and then the game stops responding. If I ignore the text box it will just stay frozen as I've tried doing this for 30+ minutes and interacting with the box instantly closes the game.
This has happened before but it usually fixed itself after 2 tries, now...

It seems, I'm not the only one with this problem...It's weird I have the problem with only 1 account.
Is it possible to fix that somehow?

I recently reinstalled starbound and my mods after coming back from a long break. After going through the basic missions and completing the Erchius Mining Facility Mission, the Terramart and Teleshop still have not opened. I also had to force complete the scanning quest for the Outpost.

Failed to rank up as a bounty hunter

I have full ex for ranking up to level 3. I get a message with my last quest that I ranked up but the board doesn't show that. No new peacekeeper station assigned. Old Bounty board just has my last mission pulled up again.

eu jogava muito starbound, mas um dia quando eu fui abrir, o jogo iniciava normalmente na steam e depois ficava uma tela branca com bordas pretas e passando poucos segundos, o meu jogo simplesmente fecha.

Increasing .shipworld size?

So i noticed that Starbound keeps adding 2kb every minute to the .shipworld file even without doing absolutely anything. is this normal or wanted behaviour? it basically keeps bloating that file into oblivion even when im just standing still

Hello, ive just downloaded starbound and when I launch the game the screen is black for a minute then after i click on it the game screen appears but the background and mouse wont move, and there is no not responding, plus the music comes out clear. However when go to the start and move the mouse then click the start button again, the red starbound mouse moves and the background shfits. I can only click on start game if im on the start menu and somehow it clicks through it onto the starbound...

Beat the Ruin on a different world, came back to mine and cannot progress.

I beat the Ruin with my character on my sister's world (playing co-op) and now going back to mine none of the balls were collected. I re-ran the missions on my world and got the first five (the sixth being given to you by the old woman) but when I go talk to her to get the sixth she doesn't do it. Can I not do the Ruin/get keys on my world now that I beat it on hers? Am I missing something? I reran every mission I had available to me. That would be a huge bummer.

I do not have any mods on...

Crash while trying to join a server

Hi there,

I was playing the latest version of Starbound and trying to join a server. However, after I pressed the button [Join server] the game got stuck for a while and then just crashed (closed).

There're some problems same to this which have been posted before, but I didn't find any solution that works for me.

I've tried everything and I keep having the same problem. I've deleted all the startbound files and reinstalled, at this point I think I lost my saves but whatever. I just wanna play the game. When I install the game the starbound.config file is missing. Please help!!!

Unable to launch, even after re-install.
Turned off overlays.
Happens on both 64 & 32 bit.
Tried running as admin.
